Extensions and Remodelling of Private House – Scotton
Rural locations present their own challenges when designing individual homes which make a statement, without unbalancing what makes them desirable places to live in the first place.
Scotton was the home to a large, 1960's family home on a raised plot in the centre of the village. The new owners liked the space and location, but not the appearance, and saw an opportunity to create a bit of a talking point.
The resulting extensions and remodelling will see the property nearly double in size, with dramatic white render with contrasting grey brickwork and natural timber cladding, large windows and unobstructed spaces internally, to create the most modern property Scotton has experienced.
Spring 2015 should see this property completed.
