The Dalton Estate

Renovations of Housing Stock – near Beverley

keystonearchitecture have been appointed by The Dalton Estate, owned by the Hotham Family, near Beverley, to survey some of their existing housing stock for a scheme of works of upgrading the properties to current standards, whilst improving their potential for letting.

Works include upgrades to insulation and services as well as structural improvements, and installing wood chip boilers served by locally produced wood chips from the Estate itself.

Many of the properties are located in important Conservation Areas, are adjacent to Scheduled Monuments, or are Listed – or in the case of Hall Garth pictured, all three – so careful consideration is taken on how best to bring the properties up to modern standards, whilst maintaining their identity and important historic features.
